Cast steel stud designed for securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. Ideal for replacing old or rusty studs to ensure a strong, heat-resistant, and reliable fit.

Cast steel is used for exhaust manifold studs because it can handle extreme heat, high clamping loads, and corrosion from exhaust gases.

Titanium or aluminium would be unsuitable — aluminium would soften and deform under exhaust heat, and titanium, while strong, can gall, seize, and is cost-prohibitive for this application.
